Pentecost Sunday, June 12
We used candles to represent fire -- a symbol of the Spirit --and red flowers -- to represent new life in the Spirit .
At the close of the service, all recessed to the front yard for the benediction -- placing the flowers around the sign, where they were planted later that day.

Memorial Day
GCCP celebrated Memorial Day Sunday by remembering --

Visit to Llanfair
A group of about 12 of us visited Llanfair Retirement Community. The event included a great lunch, a presentation on Estate Planning and Planned Giving, and an inspirational time in the new chapel. Several of us are going to gather more information on residence facilities there for the time when we might consider down sizing and choosing an easier life-style.

While our local friends observed the occasion at Wyoming Pres. Church, friends across the world in Zambia, Africa, did also. At left is Patricia Habasila, who was the main speaker. The gentleman in the gray suit in the right picture is her husband, Chala. Other pictures show their church in Kitwe and the choir of the day at the Reformed Church.
